Temporary suspension of services

Hi

I hope your family is in good health and you are ok. Well 2020, no one predicted this!

I’m writing to let you know that as of last week, I’ve temporarily ceased practicing and Cosmedical Clinic has closed its doors. In the end it was an easy decision to make, knowing the health of my patients and my health are the most important thing. It’s the right thing to do as we all play our part in flattening the curve.

That means I’m now, as so many people are, finding myself couped up inside an apartment with my husband who is working from home and daughter who I’m now apparently home schooling. This is certainly time where kindness and the occasional (ok daily) glass of wine is required.

As a nurse I understand the predictions for the coming weeks and worry for the heroic health care professionals on the frontline. We must all do our bit. Science and statistics show us that isolation is the socially responsible thing to do and I encourage you, to just stay home!

I know lots of us are feeling anxious and if so, please visit the Black Dog Institute’s website which has big range of evidence-based information and e-tools to help with your mental health.

I was so sorry not to see some of my patients before lockdown and many of you have been asking what you can do for your skin. So, over the coming weeks (months?), I’ll be sharing a few product tips and treatments you can do to keep you and your skin feeling great.

When we come through this, I hope it’s a little wiser, less arrogant and more sensitive to the needs of our community and environment.

Until next time, please look after yourself, stay isolated, safe and healthy.

Much love

Bec
